About One Beyond

One Beyond is the newest and fastest growing value retailer in the UK, our first store opened it's doors in 2019 with the brand now operating out of 100 stores nationwide. The product range offered is made up of over 5000 lines.

 

One Beyond recently made a successful transition from One Below to cater for a wider audience and offer more choice for our customers.

 

One Beyond currently operates out of Barnsley, South Yorkshire where our Head Office and 250,000 sq. It distribution centre is based. After successfully trading throughout the coronavirus pandemic, the business is now embarking on an aggressive expansion plan.

 

The business is founded by the former founders of Poundworld, Chris & Christopher Edwards. The Poundworld brand amassed 350 stores across Great Britain and Northern Ireland before its sale to private equity giants TPG capital in 2015.

 

After the sale in 2015, Poundworld made a strategic change which led to its demise and exit from the UK high street in 2018, this left a huge gap in the UK market, today One Beyond is filling that void and rapidly gaining the market share that Poundworld once had.
